Series V returns to BBC Two this autumn.

Incoming! We're pleased to announce that Red Dwarf V is to be repeated weekly on BBC2 at 9pm from Thursday 13 August 2026. Six terrific episodes leaning into darker, more existential adventures, testing the crew's psyches.

Episodes are:

Holoship - (originally aired: 20 February 1992) Rimmer finally passes an exam and joins the crew of an advanced holographic vessel, only to realize he must sacrifice himself in a romantic trap.

The Inquisitor - (originally aired: 27 February 1992) The crew faces a time-traveling android judge who erases those who haven't justified their existence.

Terrorform - (originally aired: 5 March 1992) Rimmer and Lister get trapped on a psi-moon that physically manifests Rimmer's deep-seated neuroses.

Quarantine - (originally aired: 12 March 1992) Rimmer is driven completely mad by a holo-virus and locks the rest of the crew out in a quarantined zone, forcing them to survive a lethal virus and a talking puppet.

Demons & Angels - (originally aired: 19 March 1992) An experiment splits the Red Dwarf crew into two distinct ships: one containing their purely "good" counterparts and another with their violent, sadistic "evil" alter-egos.

Back to Reality - (originally aired: 26 March 1992) The crew encounters a hallucination-inducing sea monster.
