He's come a long way since Rastybilly Skank! Craig Charles joins presenters as diverse as Phill Jupitus, Andrew Collins and Liz Kershaw on the new BBC digital station 6 Music for his new show.

Radio Craig

Available only to those who can pick up DAB digital radio (and those who choose to listen to the radio via the internet), 6 Music is described as "a station for people who are passionate about pop and rock music" covering everything from The Clash through to Sly & The Family Stone, via Beck, Bjork and Public Enemy, as well as championing new bands.

A former Kiss FM DJ, Craig brings you "the music which has shaped his life" in a mix of comedy and slamming funk. Guests include Mother Earth frontman Matt Deighton, DJ Keb Darge and Nitin Sawnhey. Craig's programme - The Funk Show - goes out on Fridays from 7pm to 10pm, and Saturdays from 6pm to 9pm.
