Pasty Tape
Chloë Annett movie Pasty Faces gets a video and DVD release.
8 March, 2002
The film that put Chloë Annett in leather with a gun in her hand is out to buy on March 11th. Pasty Faces received a limited cinema release in Scotland, but is now available to the home viewer.
Written and directed by David Baker, Pasty Faces on DVD features animated and scored menus, as well as the original trailer. Baker also stars in the film, which tells the story of two out of work actors who head for Los Angeles in search of the big time and get caught up in gambling and organised crime - not helped by a disastrous trip to Las Vegas.
Chloë plays Lena - "a bit of a crazy nutter", as the actress revealed to Mr Flibble. "But not too crazy," she adds. "Misunderstood. It's a young, energetic film... I steal men's wallets in casinos, hold them at gunpoint - in black leather. Anytime anybody says anything to me I've got this big gun! It's hilarious, it's very funny."
And did she enjoy being given a gun to play with? "Oh, everybody did! We were all terrible!" She laughs. "It was like Red Dwarf with the props. 'I'll just take that... Chloë, I'll just take that...' (Whines) 'No, I want to play with the gun...'"
