Does Craig Charles have Britain's Brightest Celebrity Family?

The celebrity edition of a popular gameshow format has long been a Red Dwarf fan favourite. And with a CV boasting appearces on the VIP editions of Pointless, Catchphrase, and The Weakest Link, it's only fitting that Craig Charles would be asked to take up the challenge of Britain's Brightest Celebrity Family.

Competing for a place in the semi-finals on a journey to win £25,000 for his chosen charity, Craig and his family will face a series of quickfire and strategic general knowledge questions from The Chase's Governess, Anne Hegerty, next Thursday evening.

This of course won't be the first time Craig has faced the Governess, appearing as he did on the celebrity edition of The Chase back in 2012, where he was beaten by the quizzing conqueror after taking the brave decision to try and bring home £42,000. Will he fare better this time? We'll certainly be rooting for him.

Other episodes in the series, available on the ITV Hub now, include family face-offs between Vanessa Feltz and Matthew Wright, Joe Pasquale and Antony Cotton, and Neil Ruddock and Colin Jackson. Does Craig have what it takes to claim the prize? Well, we'll all have to tune in to find out. Craig and his family will face EastEnders' Rita Simons next week on the 29th of April at 8.30pm on ITV.
