He's the last man alive, the Prince of the Planet-Potters, and the only person ever to get his money back from the Odor-Eater people. Dave Lister, or rather Craig Charles, has appeared in all 74 episodes of Red Dwarf, and in those 33 years he has left an impressive pictorial legacy in his wake. We thought it was about time that he got his own dedicated gallery to celebrate him.

As the heart and soul of Red Dwarf, these pictures show the range of the character and his development over the years. From his boyish charm in 1988's The End through to his mature and polished performance in 2020's The Promised Land, a journey through images of Lister is a journey through the history of the show itself.

We'll be updating our gallery section over the coming weeks and months with more character specific collections and behind the scenes snapshots. Make sure you keep a close eye on this as there may even be a few rare or never-before-seen images making their way to you.
