Christmas Gift Guide

Fill your stockings with Dwarfy goodness.

14 December, 2012

With less than two weeks to go until Christmas, you're doubtless running around frantically trying to sort out the rest of your present shopping. Fortunately, here at reddwarf.co.uk we can give you direct links to all manner of goodies for the Red Dwarf fan - or the yet-to-be-converted fan - in your life...

Christmas Gift Guide

For the Completist

Red Dwarf X on DVD... with reversible sleeve, to match the Series I-VIII DVDs they doubtless already have on their shelf!

For the HD Viewer

Know someone who's got a Blu-ray player and an utterly massive telly, and won't stop going on about how brilliant HD is? Why not give them the Series X or Back to Earth Blu-ray sets, so that they can enjoy the benefits of brilliant comedy shot on the Epic Red cameras to their fullest!

For the New Fan

So your younger cousin has just got their first taste of Red Dwarf, courtesy of Series X on Dave. They're eager to watch more - but where should they start? Well, why not let them take their pick, courtesy of the complete Just the Shows boxset, a value-tastic way of catching up on the show's 25-year history in one fell swoop.

Christmas Gift Guide

For the Technophile

How do you know if someone's got an iPad? They tell you about it. Fortunately, you can put that knowledge to good use, by getting them any or all of the entirety of Series I-X - plus the Smeg Ups and Smeg Outs compilations - to watch on their tablet (or other iOS compatible device, PC or Mac), courtesy of the brilliant Red Dwarf iTunes Room.

For the Bookworm

Still one of the best-selling TV series tie-in books ever, Red Dwarf in printed text form still makes a great old-fashioned Christmas present - with the Omnibus a particularly satisfyingly chunky object to find under the tree. You could also treat someone to Robert Llewellyn's latest novel, the utopian sci-fi of News From Gardenia.

For the Bookworm With A Car

Of course, novels don't just have to be enjoyed in print - and both volumes of the Red Dwarf Radio Show abridged audiobooks are available to buy from iTunes. If you prefer your books complete and without added sound effects, however, you can also get the unabridged books from Audible.

For the Smeg Head

Just so your annoying sibling knows their place... how about the classic t-shirt?
