DJXVII: The First Guests

Llewellyn and Barrie confirmed for next year's convention.

It seems like only last week we were telling you of the newly-announced details of the next Official Red Dwarf Fan Club convention, Dimension Jump XVII. That's probably because it was - but just in case you need a reminder, the event is taking place in Birmingham from the 3rd to the 5th of May 2013.

However, barely have we had a chance to process that bit of news, than the Fan Club types have come forward with a pair of startlingly good further pieces of information: with the announcement that Chris Barrie and Robert Llewellyn are the first confirmed guests.

Chris is something of a DJ ever-present - by our count, he's been at every convention since the year 2000, and that's as far back as reddwarf.co.uk's records go! - while Robert sadly had to miss appearing in person last year due to a last-minute hitch. While his subsequent Skype-based appearance was terrific fun and showed remarkable commitment, everyone will surely be pleased to see him back in person for this one.

Places at the event cost, in an "early bird" special, £55 for fan club members, and £65 for non-members, between now and the beginning of September. So don't delay - head on over to the Dimension Jump website to find out more about the event and hotel and book your slot!
