D-D-Dimension Jump!
Logo design competition winner announced.
11 May, 2012
Congratulations are in order to one lucky - and very talented - Red Dwarf fan, as The Official Red Dwarf Fan Club have chosen the winner of their competition to design a logo for next year's sure-to-be-epic Dimension Jump XVII convention.
The winning design, voted on by the fan club team from more than sixty entries, was by Christopher Williams - and as you can see below, it features none other than Orson Welles, in his most famous role in Citizen Kane. No, wait, sorry... it's Mugs Murphy, isn't it? Christopher wins the chance to see first-hand the use of his logo around the venue and on fan club merchandise, as he'll be getting a free ticket to the convention. Well done!
Meanwhile, the fan club have given us an update on arrangements for the first post-Series X convention:
We know you're all as keen as we are to get going with the plans for DJXVII, and we'll let you know when you can book your place and hotel room as soon as we have everything signed and sealed. We're currently in talks with a couple of venues for April 2013, so we really appreciate your support and patience while we hammer out all the details for what is sure to be a Red Dwarf-tastic weekend!
For further updates, keep your eye on the Fan Club website.
While Grant Naylor Productions fully supports the Dimension Jump convention, please note that it is not a GNP event, and is organised and run by the official Fan Club.
