TV Round Up
Where you can catch Red Dwarf over the Christmas period.
21 December, 2001
First up - America. Fans in the USA will be able to catch the end of series VIII - concluding a full series run - on the 21st, 27th and 28th of December on BBC America. The episodes in question (as if you didn't know) are Pete parts 1and 2, and series cliffhanger Only the Good.
Next - Australia. Red Dwarf has finally returned to TV sets all around Oz as UKTV begin the New Year with wall to wall smegmania. From Monday, December 31st at 8.30pm to 7am on Wednesday, January 2nd, the channel will be screening an entire series marathon.
If that weren't enough, March will see the show return to the UKTV once more - though in as part of a less bladder-straining schedule. Promoting the show, Robert Llewellyn and Doug Naylor have been giving interviews for Australian publications such as the Telegraph, The Age, The West Australian and the Adelaide Advertiser.
Finally, the slime looks like it's come home. Fans in the United Kingdom have long been able to catch the show on satellite channel UK Gold, but now it's time for Red Dwarf to once again return to BBC2. Mr Flibble has picked a strong rumour from a source at the Beeb that a full run of the series is likely to be shown next year - currently hoping to begin in May.
