Synopsis

The Dwarfers find themselves in an alternative version of America where modern technology is prohibited, making Rimmer and Kryten illegal. The Dwarfers infiltrate the tech savvy underground and try to bring down the authoritarian regime.

Did You Know?

This was the final episode filmed for Series XI, but due to the strength of its premise and visuals, was bumped forwards to be the series opener. As such, it became the first ever episode of Red Dwarf to premiere online ahead of its broadcast on Dave.

Big Bang Beryl is played, in a returning appearance, by Rebecca Blackstone - previously seen as Series X's Pree.

The last scene of the episode was actually shot as part of the Series XII production run, due to overrunning schedules at the end of XI's run. The bunkroom set used is therefore the slightly revised later version.
