Synopsis
Lister loses Rimmer in a game of poker to a group of Biologically Engineered Life Forms and in return gets an unwanted gift: a groinal exploder programmed to detonate in 24 hours unless Lister pays his debts. Meanwhile Kryten and Cat become quantum entangled and do everything in perfect unison.

Steven Wickham, who played Lister's GELF bride back in Emohawk: Polymorph II, returns here as the BEGG chief.
The character of Professor Edgington, played by Sydney Stevenson, was a late addition to the episode when the original ending proved unable to be filmed. The scene in which the chimp transforms into the Professor - with her legs played by a stunt double - was the last scene shown to the audience on the night.
Rimmer is seen in a red costume for the first time since Series VI, as he temporarily switches to soft light in order to pass through the ERRA station door.
