Synopsis
Lister has women trouble when he gets himself in a love triangle with Snack Dispensers 23 and 34; then, to make matter worse, gets a letter from an old girlfriend telling him she's pregnant and it might be his. Lister and Rimmer hunt through the mountain of letters from the mail pod to discover if Lister is finally a dad.

Did You Know?
Subbuteo, as referenced by Rimmer, is a classic table-top football game involving the flicking of little plastic men at oversized plastic balls. Ask your parents.
Due to late series rewrites after the abandonment of an originally intended closing pair of episodes, several of the scenes for this episode were shot some months after the main production, making use of greenscreen to place the actors against pre-recorded shots of the various ship sets.
The JMC magazine read by Lister in the opening scene features a photo of Series X floor runner Reece King, in an in-joke by the design team. Reece also appears in The Beginning as an Io Polytechnic student.
