Red Dwarf comes to another UK streaming platform!
29 November, 2019
You can barely move for TV streaming platforms these days - but one fortunate consequence of the growth in the industry is that every time a new service launches, it's yet another service that might have Red Dwarf on it. And the latest one to hit UK devices is just such a service.
BritBox is a new joint venture between the BBC and ITV, which you may recall launching in the USA back in 2017. It's now come to the UK as well, bringing with it the largest selection of British TV comedy and drama boxsets available anywhere (excluding kids' content). And, unsurprisingly, that includes Red Dwarf - specifically, the first eight, BBC-era series.
The service costs £5.99 per month, but if you want to check out what's on there first, you can sign up now for a pleasingly long 30 day free trial. You'll be able to watch shows on Apple TV, select Samsung smart TVs, and iOS and Android devices, as well as in your web browser. And the range of available devices, as well as the content on the platform itself, is due to expand over the coming months.
