Complete Guide gets a behind-the-scenes update.

We know, we know. It's bugged us as much as it has you, honest: that little box in the middle of the index page, listing the various sections of the site's Complete Guide, but with a conspicuous gap alongside "Series X" where the words "Making Of" should go.

Until now.

Head on over to the Guide, and you'll now find thousands of words of meaty detail about the conception, production and aftermath of Red Dwarf X. As per usual, we've got dedicated sections on the writing, costumes, sets, music, effects and a heck of a lot more. A nice bit of gentle Friday lunchtime reading, no?

Of course, for an even more detailed version of the RDX behind-the-scenes story, you really want to feast your eyes on the epic two-hour "We're Smegged" documentary on the DVD and Blu-ray. But at the very least, this should tide you over until you can get to HMV Blockbuster your DVD emporium of choice!
