With Back to Earth now driving viewers wild, it's the perfect time to grab yourself a comforting episode of the original series - available to download right now.

Series I is out now on iTunes for £9.99, or you can pick up any individual episode (you'll find our episode guide here) for £1.89. The other seven series are intended to follow on a one-per-month basis until November.

In the meantime, it's never been easier to check out Lister's incarceration in stasis, the ship's encounter with echoes of the future, and Rimmer's struggle to literally live with himself.
