Norman and Danny help out The Willow Foundation.

The Willow Foundation has teamed up with respected British artist, Julie-Anne Gilburt to hold an art exhibition of nearly 300 small canvases provided by well-known names from sport, art and entertainment... oh, and Red Dwarf.

Stars on Canvas is a fundraiser in aid of the Willow Foundation, a national charity providing special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds throughout the UK. The charity was set up by Bob Wilson (formerly of Arsenal) and his wife Megs in memory of their daughter who they lost to cancer.

Norman Lovett has created a - pretty impressive - canvas of his dog Elvis(the subject of many a stand-up moment), while Danny John-Jules has gone for some cat imagery... it's not hard to work out why. There's also an image by one-time Red Dwarf guest-star Sarah Alexander.

All the canvases are being auctioned online now right here. The eBay auction will run for ten days from November 26 to December 6. A public exhibition of all the canvases is being held at London's SW1 Gallery from December 2nd to 6th. For more details on this remarkable charity check the website.
