Holly Get-Together
Norman. Hattie. Finsbury Park.
22 June, 2007 (Updated 29 June, 2007)
Norman Lovett and Hattie Hayridge currently hold a bit of a Red Dwarf legacy between them. With Beat the Geek filmed only last year, they are the most recent actors to fully reprise their roles on-screen. (Although Chris Barrie must come close with his voice work as Rimmer, and everybody else, in Bodysnatcher.)
Still, Beat the Geek was recorded over two days - Hattie and Norman were never filmed together. Which makes the Red Rose Comedy Club's double-bill all the more enticing. They have both performers signed up for a 9pm dual gig on Saturday, July 21st.
The venue is located on Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park. (Which is in London, obviously.) You can learn a lot more from their website and book tickets here.
ADDITIONAL: Norman's live DVD should be out in early August, and following the recording the man himself sent this message:
"Thanks to all you Dwarfy people who came along to my DVD recording last Thursday at The Maltings Theatre in St Albans. You played your part in making it a great night and I'm sure the DVD will reflect that. One or two of you are complete nutters, but I do know where you are coming from - and I think you should go back there as soon as possible. Thank you so much for coming to see me and I'm really grateful for your support."
You can find Norman's extensive tour date list on his website.
