Brittas Bits

The latest word on the next DVD release.

Eureka Video have been in touch with news on the fourth Brittas DVD release, due out on July 12th. Eureka have had a lot of success with Chris Barrie's much-underrated BBC sit-com, and series four is one of the best - featuring, as it does, Brittas being hypnotised to be more 'normal', the leisure centre under medieval attack, the return of Brittas' twin brother Horatio, Colin playing manager to fool his long-lost daughter... and Brittas being fired. The episodes are:

Mr. Brittas Changes Trains
Playing With Fire
Shall We Dance?
The Christening
Biggles Tells A Lie
The Chop
High Noon

Expect another double digi-pack complete with cool animated menus and a few extras - including a photo gallery and outtakes. Series five is also planned for release later in the year.

In other news, fans may have noticed rumours of a Red Dwarf I-IV DVD box set due out in September. This product is currently in development with the BBC, though we have no definite news as yet - expect packaging shots to appear as soon as things are a little more concrete.
