We're not the kind of website to get swept up in the excitement of radio-controlled metal monsters duking it out on national TV. We're more your warm slippers and mug of hot chocolate type. Still, you can't help but be lured in by Robot Wars...

The seventh series, hosted by Craig Charles and newcomer Jane Middlemiss, arrives on its new home channel Five this week - Sunday, November 2nd at 7pm, with a repeat the following Saturday. New rules and new robots are promised in the 22-part series. Us, we'll be putting our feet up and sticking the kettle on.
