It's cutting a swath across the Beeb's ratings, so now might be a good time to check out Spooks on Monday nights at 9pm on BBC1. Why? Well, what better reason than to check out Jenny Agutter's latest role.
Having guest starred in Red Dwarf episode Psirens as Kryten's creator, Professor Mamet, Jenny has taken on the role of Tessa Phillips, a high-ranking MI5 officer with a dark edge. With its uncompromising attitude to violence, Spooks is not a show for the squeamish - but it's a great place for some celebrity guest stars. Last week's edition featured Anthony Stewart Head (Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Hugh Laurie.
