In its first week online, reddwarf.co.uk brought you news that research into antibodies had indicated that watching Red Dwarf was good for you. And we didn't even make it up!

Recently we received the following testimonial from Dr Shantha Perera, who conducted the study:

I think the way you've put together the material would give a great boost to immunology research - and we desperately need lots of youngsters to get into the subject, especially in light of the ongoing AIDS crisis etc.

Even if we get one bright young spark interested - who later comes up with a vaccine or a new drug to stop HIV - all our efforts would have been worth it. Who knows: Red Dwarf saves the world??.
