The Real Inspector Hound
Rob Grant and Paul Jackson return with more Lockdown Theatre.
16 October, 2020
After A Bit of Waiting for Godot and Private Lives raised a combined total of over £80,000 for The Royal Theatrical Fund, we are delighted to let you know that on Sunday the 25th October, Rob Grant and Paul Jackson's Lockdown Theatre will be back on your Zoom screens for their most ambitious project yet - Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound.
Produced by Rob and Paul, and starring (deep breath now) Derek Jacobi, Simon Callow, Jennifer Saunders, Freddie Fox, Emilia Clarke, Samantha Bond, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Gary Wilmot and Robert Lindsay, The Real Inspector Hound is an Agatha Christie-like farce that follows two theatre critics who become embroiled in a mysterious melodrama upon the discovery of a fellow critic's body. It premiered at the Criterion Theatre, London in 1968 with a cast that included Richard Briers and Ronnie Barker.
As always, the performance will be followed by a live Q&A with Rob and Paul, together with the cast and director. If the previous productions are anything to go by, then this promises to be a night to remember and one you don't want to miss.
Remember, Lockdown Theatre productions are for one-night-only. They are not repeated, and they are not recorded. You can get tickets here and we hope to see as many of you there as possible.
