Strictly Update
How Danny's getting on so far - and how to vote for him!
19 October, 2018
It's been delightful to see Danny John-Jules flying the Dwarfer flag on Strictly Come Dancing over the past few weeks - but in case you haven't been keeping up with the BBC's Saturday night dancing show, you might be wondering how our fleet-footed feline is getting on. So here's a handy update.
Danny is partnered up with professional dancer Amy Dowden on the show, and so far has successfully got through the first four weeks of dances. In week one, the pair did the foxtrot to a particularly appropriate theme song:

Week two saw them doing the Cha-Cha-Cha, although sadly not to the music from Confidence & Paranoia:

In Movie Week, they paid tribute to The Greatest Showman with a paso doble:

And last week, it was the Viennese Waltz, to a classic Sammy Davis Jr track:

So far each week, Danny and Amy have been comfortably safe from elimination - in terms of the judges' scores, they actually sit joint third with a total of 110 points from their four dances. But the judges' points are only part of the story, so if you want to ensure Danny gets to keep dancing all the way to the final, you'll want to make sure you vote!
If you're in the UK, you can vote each week either by visiting the Strictly homepage, or dialling the landline or mobile numbers of 09015 22 52 14 or 6 22 52 14 respectively. But only do so when the voting has opened each time!
We'll keep you posted on Danny's progress, and keep an eye on Twitter as well. In the meantime, we'll hold out hope that the Dibbley costume gets a dusting off at some point...
