Official Fan Club convention this weekend!

It's been two years since the last Dimension Jump convention, and an awful lot has happened since then. Remember, when the weekend started in 2015, Series XI and XII hadn't even been officially announced yet - but when Doug Naylor walked out onto that stage in Nottingham, everything changed.

And now we're set to do it all over again - the convention, that is, not the double-series announcement! And with a whole new series of Red Dwarf to talk about (and another one on the way later this year) it's a perfect time to get together with fellow Dwarfers for a weekend of employment of time in a profitless and non-practical way. And so it is that Dimension Jump XIX kicks off this evening, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham.

Alongside Dimension Jump XIX's headline guests of Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules, Robert Llewellyn and Hattie Hayridge, Series XI will be represented by Lucie Pohl (Harmony), Stephen Critchlow (Captain Herring) and Suanne Braun (Cop); while Mark Dexter (Howard Rimmer) becomes the latest Series X star to make an appearance at one of the shows. And after a successful debut at DJ XVIII, TV legend (and celebrity Dwarf fan) Dave Benson Phillips will be on hand to provide entertainment!

The weekend will be filled with special guest Q&As, autograph and photo sessions, games and quizzes, disco and karaoke, the legendary costume competition, and plenty more. If you're not coming along to DJ but you still want to get some Red Dwarf action in this weekend, however, then there are other options available. Doug Naylor will be a guest at Stoke CON Trent on Sunday 9th April, while Norman Lovett is at the Glasgow Sci-fi and Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday.

Or maybe you just fancy going old school, and watching some Red Dwarf on Dave? In that case, you can see three classic episodes from Series III from 2pm on Sunday.
