British Comedy Guide award voting now open!

You'd agree that Red Dwarf XI was the standout comedy of 2016, right? We'd be surprised if you were reading this site and didn't. So we guess it's our duty to tell you that you can share that view with the world, courtesy of the British Comedy Guide website's 2016 awards.

Red Dwarf is nominated for one of their increasingly-prestigious awards, in the Best Returning Comedy category; and if you go through the entire voting process, you can also select the show as Best Comedy Overall from the ones you picked in various categories.

There are some big names nominated this year, so it's going to be tough for Red Dwarf to take home the win - but with your help, we reckon we can do it! Head on over to the site to cast your vote - but you've only got until Sunday 22nd January to do so!

We'll report back on the awards when the winners are announced. Unless Red Dwarf hasn't won, in which case we'll sulk.
