It was only last week that we gave you details of a convention in Australia that's being attended by several of the main Red Dwarf cast - but closer to home, the first quarter of 2014 promises a veritable festival of convention dates upon which fans in the UK can get to see the Dwarfers.

There are so many different conventions out there these days that it's practically a full-time job keeping track of them all, but some of the more notable events in the coming events and months include BritSciFi at the National Space Centre in Leicester, the first ever EM-Con (East Midlands Convention) in Nottingham, and along similar lines a first ever Sci-Fi Scarborough in, erm, Scarborough.

While guest listings for these events are subject to change at all times, here's the latest information we have on which Red Dwarf guests are currently slated to appear on which dates up and down the country:

In addition, we were going to tell you about a specific Red Dwarf themed evening coming up on the 9th March, at the Ritz Cinema, Lincoln. Chris, Danny and Robert will all be attending, alongside Tony Hawks, for an evening of Q&A, signings, cosplay, screenings, games and prizes. Unfortunately, just as we were on the verge of publishing this, the limited allocation of 200 tickets appears to have sold out. But keep an eye on the event website, in case any returns mean it's still possible to nab a ticket for this sought-after event!

We'll keep you posted on any further news of events coming up throughout 2014 that we hear of - and of course, we hope that before too long we'll have some more news on the next Dimension Jump. Of course, the cast's availability for this kind of event may well depend on whether or not they have any filming commitments later this year... but obviously we can't possibly comment on that sort of thing just yet.
