RDX on ABC
Series X to hit Australian screens.
19 October, 2012
While UK fans have been thoroughly enjoying the UK broadcast of Red Dwarf X on Dave - not to mention the later availability of episodes to stream on Dave's catch-up service and for download on iTunes - it's fair to say that the question of when our international friends would get to watch all six new episodes has been ever-present. Barely a day goes by that somebody on our Forum doesn't ask when the good ship Dwarf will be landing on their shores once more.
Fortunately, for those viewers Down Under, the question has now been answered: our favourite Antipodean channel, ABC1 - flagship of the public broadcaster Australian Broadcasting Corporation - will launch Red Dwarf X at 9.30pm on Wednesday 7th November. Ripper!
We can assume - although darn those pesky Aussies for not having their schedules online weeks in advance - that the rest of the series will follow on subsequent Wednesdays. And for those of you in other countries, particularly the USA, still awaiting RDX transmission news, we can only apologise for the delay - we understand discussions are still ongoing to get the series on to American screens, but when we have any more information you'll hear it right here.
