Trojan
Red Dwarf X starts here!
4 October, 2012
Yes, we're breaking with over a decade of convention and updating reddwarf.co.uk on a Thursday - but did you really think we'd let this special day pass without comment?
Because, yes, this is no ordinary Thursday. This is the Thursday upon which a brand new series of Red Dwarf begins. And we've got goosebumps just typing that.
The first episode of Red Dwarf X, Trojan, is broadcast at 9pm tonight on UK digital channel Dave. You can find Dave on Freeview channel 12, Sky channel 111 and Virgin Media channel 128 (129 for HD). And if you happen to be living an hour behind the rest of us, catchup channel Dave ja vu is on Sky 158 and Virgin 191.
Trojan sees the Red Dwarf crew stumble across a mysteriously abandoned ship, before receiving an SOS distress call from a dashing space adventurer with a strangely familiar surname. The episode - like the entirety of Series X - is written and directed by Doug Naylor, and stars the original gang of Craig Charles, Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn. Episode one also features guest stars Mark Dexter and Susan Earl as... well, that would be telling, wouldn't it?
If you can compose yourself after all of that Brand New Red Dwarf Excitement, don't forget that our Forum is open for all your Series X chatter. And the very best part? We've still got five more weeks of this to come...
Red Dwarf X. Thursday nights at 9pm. Only on Dave.
