RDX Pre-Order
Can't wait for the DVD/Blu-ray? Step this way...
24 August, 2012
The series hasn't even been broadcast yet, but if you're keen to make sure you get your hands on the DVD and/or Blu-ray release of Red Dwarf X the moment it's available, you could do a lot worse than to head to one of a number of online retailers now offering it for pre-order.
Listing a release date of 19th November - although we should stress that this is not a confirmed date as yet - UK-based retailers Amazon, Play.com and HMV all have listings for both the DVD and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray is at its cheapest at HMV, who have it for £17; but it's Play who have the best DVD deal, the price of £13.99 a whole penny less than HMV. Amazon have the most expensive DVD, at £14.99, but their £17.50 Blu-ray is cheaper than Play. All three sites offer free delivery.
At the moment, it's only UK-based retailers that are open for pre-orders - but there are plans for an eventual wider release in other regions as well. We'll bring you more information on this, along with the special features content and cover artwork, in the coming weeks!
Red Dwarf X will be broadcast on Dave and released on DVD/Blu-ray later in the year.
