Death in Paradise is the new BBC One detective drama our Danny John-Jules just can'tstop telling peoplehe's in.

Though the exotic locale - Guadeloupe, thanks very much - might be the the thing that sticks out, it's the classic fish-out-of-water scenario that holds the real appeal as Robert Thorogood's drama takes none-more-British Detective Inspector Richard Poole (Ben Miller) out to the Caribbean to solve a case... and with little care that the detective loathes sun, sea and sand.

Danny's role as Dwayne Myers - we kept trying to type Dibbley there but got it right in the end - is one of local law enforcement. And doesn't he look dapper in the uniform?

The eight-part series begins on Tuesday October 25th, 9pm on BBC One (except Northern Ireland).
