Danny and Craig Support Caribbean Takeaway
Craig Charles and Danny John-Jules were in Allenton (it's in Derbyshire) to open Roots, a new Caribbean takeaway. Owner Daniel Walsh has known Danny for years after, perhaps unsurprisingly, befriending him in a pub - and the result was "hundreds of fans" showing up to meet the pair as they supported the new local business. Here's the link, complete with tiny, tiny pictures.
Robert's Interviews
To promote a show where he interviews various people, Robert Llewellyn has been interviewed by various people. It's so meta it makes our head spin. But for all the post-modern Carpool chatter this neat 20-minute video from Dave is the one that caught our eye. Yes, that's Robert being interviewed in his own Carpool car! Right about now we expect a dimensional portal to open and swallow us all.
BBC7
As part of their promotion for the broadcast of the Radio Shows (also available on the iPlayer) Chris Barrie gave this interview for BBC Radio 7. It is, as you might expect, well worth a listen. As is the show itself.
Context is Everything
The next series of Red Dwarf is not confirmed. Seriously, we'd tell you if it was. Talks are happening, development is going on, but anything could happen. Yes, we know you've read a Digital Spy article where an executive (who isn't one) confirmed (which he didn't) a new series. But really, go read the original and calm down.
Actually, even better, go read Doug Naylor's Twitter Feed. Them's the hard facts right there. Also, he's uses a really funny photo - what has he got shoved up his nose?
