First Impressions
Some of those YouTube competition entrants.
16 April, 2010
BBC Worldwide's video impression competition is closed, and the winner is due to be revealed on Monday, May 3rd. But you shouldn't let that prevent you from watching the various entry videos!
We are, of course, honour-bound to avoid showing favouritism to any particular video by embedding it in this news story, or even linking to one over another, so you'll just have to look at them all and decide for yourselves.
Some things to note though: There is an all-German video involving a crocodile, an English-language entry with a strong German-accent, and an Australian-Scouse accent that has to be heard to be believed. There's an inventive paper cut-out monochrome Dibbley, two slick animated entries, and a clever bit of business with Lego, toys and an actual cat. There's one that involves the fairly un-PC use of make-up, a Kochanski vs Kochanski battle, and one which recreates the infamous 'eating a cigarette' moment... and its outtake.
And there are many other, equally worthy, entries. To discover which is which, you'll just have to see for yourselves. And remember, this competition was all in aid of promoting the all-new iTunes Red Dwarf Room - or 'download heaven' as it's know round these parts.
