Back to Earth to be shown on UKTV. Updated: Australia dates now added!

The all-new Red Dwarf specials, Back to Earth, are making their away across the globe and the inhabitants of New Zealand are about to have more to cheer about than, erm, large numbers of sheep and that whole Lord of the Rings thing...

The three-part series is coming to UKTV (New Zealand) from Friday, November 27th at 8.30pm, to be continued over the following two weeks. (Weeks! Imagine that! Suddenly only having to wait for the following night on Dave doesn't seem such a hardship, does it?)

Dropping into the Horne and Corden slot and rated 'M' for 'Massively entertaining' (okay, we made that up), you can learn more from the UKTV website.

For fans in Australia, it looks like the show is on its way to ABC2 soon - more information and ill-advised stereotyping of nations when we have it.

Additional: ABC2 (Australia) have now confirmed their own schedule for Back to Earth. Episode one will be shown on Monday, November 30th at 8pm. Episodes two and three will follow on subsequence Mondays. How's that for a... kangaroo... that needs to be tied down? Or something. Sport.
