Robert works hard and talks harder.
1 August, 2008
Regular visitors to Robert Llewellyn's LlewTube channel on YouTube will already be way ahead of the curve on this one, but in his latest video the Kryten actor has let loose a lovely collection of news titbits. We found them too juicy to resist.
Firstly, there's a mention of a visit to Seattle for PBS station KCTS 9. Well, we're all talking about that one.
Then there's news of the actor's appearance at DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia from August 29th to September 1st. You can find all the details at their website. Attendees, why not get Bobby to sign an obscure body part? The bigger the better...
Most interestingly, though, is the arrival of two new shows on Five featuring the man himself. Firstly we're to be treated to another series of How Do They Do It?, the reckless discovery show. It's actually in its third series now (the first series led directly into a second back in March, with no break in the schedule), and the broadcast is set for September.
Also launching on Five that month is Top Trumps, a curious - and apparently
petrol-headed - adaptation of the card game. Robert co-hosts with presenter and original L!VE TV News
Bunny Ashley Hames. For each of the ten-part series the two will apparently swot up on the facts of a different
extreme machine
- from fire engines and warships to all-terrain vehicles and helicopters - before
going head-to-head to 'trump' each other's facts.
So there you have it - news for two countries' worth of Llewellyn fans. Whatever way you look at it, there's a whole lotta Bobby going on.
