All eight series together in one slipcase.

Fans in Region 1 - as we stubbornly keep calling the USA and Canada - have long been able to buy their Red Dwarf series in pairs. Back in the day, the shows came out two series at a time, and if you wanted, you could find the pairs shrink-wrapped together (and slightly cheaper). These are still available - check out the Merchandise section.

But with all eight series now available, the opportunity has been taken to allow you to buy the job-lot in one go Stateside. Instead of the standard shrink-wrap, this set will come in a cardboard slipcase - pictured here - with a total RRP of US$249.92. Release is planned for September 5th 2006.

The box is cunningly assembled to cover every series of the show, with one side representing 'old' Dwarf - Rimmer, Lister, Cat and Kryten from Series I to IV - and the other side showing the same four characters in the 'new' series, V to VIII. Kochanski gets a shot on the back cover, where combined details of the series and bonus material can also be found, and the two Hollys appear on the top.

All of which you can probably see for yourselves. Why are we even waffling on?
