The latest news nuggets from the boys from the Dwarf.
23 April, 2004
First up Chris Barrie has once again promised himself to SFX: The Event, being held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, London. As last year, Chris will be hosting the SFX Awards on the Sunday night of an event which runs from June 4th to June 6th.
In other Chris news, official confirmation from Eureka Video tells us that The Brittas Empire series four will not go on sale until July '04, despite rumours of an earlier release, with series five to follow later in the year.
Meanwhile happening dude Norman Lovett will be appearing at Odyssey 2004 - the official Arthur C. Clarke convention - at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, Taunton on the weekend of May 7th/8th. The man behind the floating head of Holly, Norman has promised that on this occasion his entire body will be present. (Yes, that's officially the twelfth time we've done that joke.)
Interestingly, Norman's 14 year-old daughter Lily - who could also be glimpsed in the last Harry Potter movie - is about to appear as the ultra-snotty Amelia in the second episode of Frank Skinner's new sitcom Shane, which will be shown on Wednesday April 28th at 10pm.
You can link to both event sites - plus Norman's own home page - from Links.
