Up For An Award
Could Red Dwarf win the BVA's Best British DVD award?
27 February, 2004
Overwhelming reviews and sales exceeding all expectations? What more could the Red Dwarf DVDs want? Well, awards, that's what.
The British Video Association in association with First Movies are launching a vote for Best British DVD. Here's an award where the people who actually buy the discs get to make a difference! And not that we'd try to sway your vote... but Mr Flibble is dying to do a thank you speech. And he won't even need to hire a tuxedo.
Click here to enter. While (criminally) not on the shortlist, we'd love to see Red Dwarf III entered into the 'other' box. (Series IV wasn't released in 2003, so won't be eligible until next year.) This is a chance to champion the underdog, and give the producers a lovely night out. Make your vote count!
As if voting weren't reward enough, First Movies are also offering a prize giveaway. One randomly-selected entrant from their database will receive a DVD player, and they along with two runners-up will snag 10 DVDs for their collection!
