Deep Heaven
More roleplaying greatness from Dwarf gamers Deep7.
24 October, 2003
Anyone who's played Red Dwarf - The Roleplaying Game will know just what a bizarre and fabulous experience it can be to fight off simulants, insult holograms or inadvertently marry GELFs. But until now, that pleasure has been limited to an American audience. Hopes are high, however, for a pre-Christmas release of the game, and its A.I. Screen & Extra Bits Book add-on, in the United Kingdom.
But that's not all. Currently in its draft stage is a brand new RPG book that follows on from Deep7's successful original - the Series Sourcebook. Continuing where the first volume left off, this now gives roleplayers the chance to be guided through entire episodes or series. Want to confront the polymorph, or be remote-controlled by an alternate version of yourself? No, us neither, but you get the point.
reddwarf.co.uk will be bringing you an insiders look at the book as it nears completion, in the meantime content yourself with the knowledge that the same team of writers is behind this new volume - which means even the non-RPGer is in for a damn good laugh.
