Red Dwarf is sold to BBC Prime in time for the New Year.

Fans across the world are already able to watch Red Dwarf from a variety of sources, whether it be terrestrial TV, satellite or cable, DVD or video. And while experiments with showing the programme via the ever-popular cup-and-string method have yet to prove successful, BBC Prime are about to make sure there's plenty of Dwarf to go around.
BBC Prime is available throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa through cable and satellite operators, as well as direct subscription. Series I to VIII have just their way onto the channel in a deal that will ensure that over 100 countries can see the Cat bring cool, Rimmer being annoying and Lister eating dog food. From Albania to Zimbabwe - seriously, there's a list on their website! - fans need never miss out on those shrinking boxer shorts again...
