Happy Birthday To Us
Here at reddwarf.co.uk we're celebrating our second year online!
15 November, 2002
It was November 2nd, 2000 at 11.40am (UK time) when the newly revamped Red Dwarf website went live. No trumpets sounded, there was no heavenly chorus, and yet we feel that everyone's curry that night tasted just a little bit sweeter.
This time last year, reddwarf.co.uk was taking around 120,000 users a month. Well, we've knocked that figure right out of the zero-gee park. The website average now is a whopping 150,000 users, with October providing the highest ever number of visitors - a smegging marvellous 165,501!
As we're celebrating a ratings success, as well as the fact that next week will be our 100th update, we thought we'd take this opportunity to thank everyone who's been visiting. It's been a fantastic year for the site - the Toaster Talking and Down Time sections have become vital bi-weekly additions, Mr Flibble has made a heap of new celebrity buddies, and we've carried the production diary for the Red Dwarf DVDs - a saga that won't be concluded until February 2006!
When it seems that the oft-delayed movie is finally reaching a 'go' stage and the DVD generation are experiencing a brand-new, crystal-clear, extras-packed world of Dwarf, things couldn't be much better for this, the official site. We're really looking forward to the next 12 months - we hope you are too.
Finally, we've taken this chance to improve the look of the site's navigation system. Out with the grey, in with the red!
Thanks for an amazing year.

P.S. A special 'thank you' should go to Andy Neale, the self-named 'code monkey' who turns our updates and designs into a language computers apparently understand. Cheers!
