Norman Lovett - the man who decapitates himself on a weekly basis in order to play Red Dwarf's Holly - is to appear on popular Radio 4 show The News Quiz. Hosted by Simon Hoggart and featuring guests including Jeremy Hardy and Francis Wheen, fans can catch Norman's laconic tones on Friday, 26th of July at 6:30pm, with a repeat on Saturday at 12:30pm. "I've gotta read the papers or I'm going to look stupid..." Norman told reddwarf.co.uk.

But that's not all for the man who makes regular dead-pan seem like just a slightly ill wok. As-yet-unsigned band Intro2 have put Norman in their new video. "I hadn't listened to their CD before I did the video," he told us, "but I did afterwards. It's some pretty good stuff."

"I came up with the idea of having Norman at the beginning and end of the video," manager Lee Phillips told us. "He said, 'You can bet we'll find something in the middle for me to do' - and he was right!" With the costume for the shoot being, essentially, a black polo neck, fans won't have trouble recognising the comedian in his music video debut!
