RDX Catchup
Missed an episode? Never fear...
5 October, 2012
We're going to assume that there aren't any of you who dared not to watch Red Dwarf X episode one, Trojan, on Dave last night. We're going to assume that the only reason you could possibly want a catch-up service for it would be that you can't possibly wait for the DVD and Blu-ray to come out in November, and have to watch it again right now.
Fortunately, for just such an occasion - or, indeed, if you're one of those forsaken souls who somehow failed to get themselves in front of a television at 9pm on a Thursday night - there exist a number of ways to get hold of Series X episodes digitally.
To begin with, broadcaster Dave have launched a seven-day catch-up service just for Red Dwarf. Each Thursday at 9.40pm - that is, the moment the original broadcast ends - that week's episode will become available to stream online for exactly ten thousand and eighty minutes (or one week, to you). That means you can even watch one episode at the same time as the next one is showing - although, no, we're not sure quite why you would want to.
So if you want to relive the crew's meeting with Howard Rimmer, head on over to Dave on Demand now, where you can find it until 9.40pm on Thursday 11th October, when Fathers and Suns will magically appear instead.
Of course, streaming is one thing - but actually having the episodes to keep on your computer or handheld device or choice is even better. Marvellously, we've got you covered there as well - as you'll be able to find each episode to buy on the iTunes store the Friday following broadcast.
Unfortunately, at the moment, streaming and download options are only available in the UK - but stay tuned for news of international Dwarf very soon...
See Red Dwarf X first on Thursday nights on Dave.
